McNovaMail roadmap & sources

McNovaMail is McNova browser code. The web client, local mailbox, McNova AI features, contacts, campaigns and rules described here are original McNova work; no third-party mail client code is bundled.

Available now

• Webmail (phase 1 client): Inbox with Primary/Updates/Promotions/Social tabs, Starred, Snoozed, Important, Sent, Scheduled, Outbox, Drafts, All Mail, Spam and Trash; conversations, labels, Gmail-style search operators, rich-text compose with attachments, signatures, schedule send, undo send, keyboard shortcuts, .eml/.mbox import and .eml export, mailbox backup and restore.
• McNova AI (phase 2): conversation summaries, action items and dates, reply drafts in a chosen tone, Help me write, rewrite and translate, spelling and grammar fixes, subject suggestions, inbox catch-up, categorization and questions about your mail. McNova AI reads only what you choose, when you ask. On-device summaries, insights and smart replies work without a connection.
• Contacts, CRM and campaigns (phase 3): contact cards with tags, stages and notes, CSV/vCard import and export, audience lists by tag or stage, personalized campaigns with merge fields and an unsubscribe line, rules and blocked senders.

Mailbox and delivery

Addresses use mcpleni.com (for example user1@mcpleni.com), served by mail.mcpleni.com. Until the mail server, DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and deliverability are set up, the mailbox lives in this browser: messages you send wait in Outbox and can be downloaded as .eml or opened in your own email app. Nothing is sent automatically, and mail does not sync between devices yet. The planned 25 GB mailbox and availability targets are goals, not current guarantees.
